About ME

My name is Myles Childs and I am a senior here at ODU. I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Marketing. I am from Richmond Virginia and have lived there my entire life. With my degree, I plan to pursue a master's degree in public health to become an epidemiologist. Ideally, I would love to work for a health department, CDC, or hospital and create interventions and programs for chronic illnesses. Outside of academics, I enjoy going outside and being active. I enjoy going to the gym and working out as well as playing and watching soccer in my free time. While at ODU I worked for undergraduate admissions as a campus ambassador where I would conduct engaging campus tours for prospective students. Additionally I worked as a Research Assistant in the Yr2 Lab which had two ongoing studies focusing on suicide prevention in youth.
