Diversity
I had the chance to choose Multi-National Marketing (MKTG 411) as my diversity course option for the Fall 2023 semester. In this section, the subject of cross-cultural dimensions of international marketing was covered in the LeADERS curriculum. This covers subjects including rivalry, international agreements, channels, policies, developmental marketing structures, and promotional techniques. I gained knowledge about how to market to other cultures and how diversity affects worldwide marketing from this course.
Future:
I gained knowledge of the various cultures found throughout the world and how different marketing approaches should be used for each. I gained a broader understanding of many cultures as well as new insights on how to interact with them thanks to this class.
At the end of the Course, we had to write a brief research paper that focused on current multinational marketing topics. I chose to write about why Amazon was so successful in other countries but couldn't succeed in the Chinese market.
